📅 Date : April 14, 2026 📍 Location : Munich Urban Colab
We are pleased to invite you to the Spring 2026 Sphinx-Needs User Group Meeting, hosted by useblocks.
This event is part of our ongoing user group series and brings together the Sphinx-Needs community, as well as professionals interested in structured and fully traceable engineering workflows. Together, we will share product updates, discuss roadmap priorities, and exchange hands-on experiences from real-world projects.
Focus Topics – Spring 2026 Edition
This edition is built around two key pillars:
1. Sphinx-Needs Core Stack & useblocks Technology Update
Latest developments in the Sphinx-Needs core stack
Updates on the useblocks tool ecosystem
Review and follow-up on the feature priority ranking conducted during our last meeting
2. AI Hackathon for Safety-Critical Software Development Special Edition: Hands-on AI Hackathon with Microsoft
This spring, we are collaborating with Georg Doll (CTO Automotive, Microsoft) to explore a highly practical and forward-looking question: "How can we accelerate safety-critical software development using AI while remaining safe, deterministic, and fully traceable?"
Engineering teams today are under increasing pressure to deliver faster. At the same time, safety-critical environments demand uncompromising traceability, reviewability, and strict compliance.
To keep the session concrete and technically meaningful, this will not be a talk-heavy event. The core of the meeting will be a structured, hands-on hackathon where we collaboratively explore practical approaches, experiment with AI-supported workflows, and evaluate their suitability for safety-critical contexts.

Welcome to the X-as-Code Webinar Series
To help grow our community, we are hosting a new webinar series. If you have colleagues who could benefit from the X-as-Code approach, please share this link within your organisation. The highlight will be episode 5 in collaboration with Github.
Episode 1: X-as-Code Foundations – “In Git We Trust” (22.04.2026, 16:00 GMT+01)
Episode 2: Architecture-as-Code (06.05.2026, 16:00 GMT+01)
Episode 3: Variants-as-Code (27.05.2026, 16:00 GMT+01)
Episode 4: AI-Assisted Development of Safety-Critical Systems (10.06.2026, 16:00 GMT+01)
Episode 1 "X-as-Code Foundations":
X-as-Code Foundations explores the shift from document-centric engineering to treating lifecycle artefacts such as requirements, architecture descriptions, and compliance evidence as version-controlled, reviewable, and traceable assets.
We introduce the core principles behind X-as-Code, explain why traditional workflows struggle at scale, and show how Git-based processes, pull requests, diffs, and CI checks create more deterministic, auditable, and scalable engineering practices. The session is designed as a conceptual foundation for the series. No prior experience is required.
The webinar includes structured content followed by live Q&A, and all registrants receive the slides and recording (if enabled).
